I strongly believe in the power of Twitter. It really is one of the best ways to connect, network, learn, grow, and share with people from all over the world. Participating in weekly education chats has helped me to feel more connected to my practice and to the people within my state who are engaging in the same type of work I am. When I attend conferences, it is so great to read through the hashtag feed and hear from so many other learners. Because of these positive interactions I have had on Twitter, I wanted to bring that knowledge to the teachers within my district. This summer, I offered some training sessions on how to use Twitter for professional growth as well as some ideas on how to implement it in the classroom.
